When we started the English course our teacher told us to choose a topic for the making of a project. We are used to learning English with a textbook so learning through project work was going to be very different and exciting for us (and difficult too!).
We argued for about a month because we all had many ideas: our traditional fairytales, a musical about music, the importance of dance, the comparison between town and country and many others. Finally we chose fairytales. They were interesting but too many and very short. So we decided to make the project about "Pinocchio", the most famous Italian tale, but in a modern way. We found the themes of this tale are very relevant today and they are very important to us because some of them are about adolescence. We decided to portray it in a modern society through a film because it was a funny and original way to improve our English. It took three months to write and make this film but in the end we achieved our objectives!

I've watched the video that you made and I think it's absolutely fantastic. It would be quite interesting to read here something about what you did to make this film and how you created the modernised story.
