Why we chose relationship with parents...
Our topic is about children's relationship with their parents. We choose this theme because we believe that it is one of the important aspects of Pinocchio`s story. The relationship between Pinocchio and his father Geppetto is strong, but complicated; in fact Geppetto wants to make Pinocchio happy and Pinocchio wants it too. But Pinocchio gets into trouble because of his ingenuousness. We want to find out the difference between English and Italian relationships that children have with parents; we want to find this out by doing interviews with parents and children. We wanted to learn how people behave with parents in England and we will discover the behaviours of children from different cultural backgrounds.

This sounds like a really interesting theme. How do you plan to research this? Who do you think you will interview? Do you have any ideas already about what differences you might find between Italy and Britain?
