We went to primary school in Headington because we had to make some interviews about Pinocchio`s story and relationship between teachers, parents and children. We wanted to find out what they knew about Pinocchio and how important the relationship with their parents was. We interviewed seven children aged about nine to ten and their teacher Hugh Morgan.
OUR QUESTIONS TO THE CHILDREN
1-Do you know Pinocchio`s story?
2-Did your parents use to read it to you?
3-What did the story of Pinocchio teach you?
4-Who is your favourite character in Pinocchio? Why?
5-Would you go to a Paradise Island, like Pinocchio did, even if your parents didn’t want you to?
6-How important is the relationship whit your parents?
7-Who do you get on with better, your mum or your dad?
8-Is family more important than friendship for you? Why?
THEIR ANSWERS
1-All the children saw the Disney movie but also a few knew the original Collodi’ s book.
2-Everybody said NO.
3-Everybody said: “Not to tell lies”. (One of them told us all the story)
4-Five out of seven preferred Pinocchio because he is funny, cool, clever and brainy; the other two Geppetto because made Pinocchio.
5-Everybody said YES but than, when they discovered that they would became donkeys, they said NO.
6-They answered: “it’s very important”.
7-A girl said that she haven`t idea, four children said that they prefer the father and the other two the mother.
8-Everybody said that the family is more important than friendship because the family is careful and they take care of them.
By this interview we understood that Pinocchio` s story is still popular for the Disney` s movie and that the children still love Pinocchio and that family is important even for the children.

1. Yes, we have a Pinocchio version in England.
2. No
3. The English version is like the Disney movie. I think they’d learn to not tell lies because it’s the most important theme in the film.
4. They have an excellent behaviour.
5. Most children accept it because they start to wear it when they’re five but a few children and parents don’t accept this.
6. Yes, we told to the parents and we ask questionnaires and they agree.
7. We have a warning system so we can focus on a child and we give him a choice.
8. Absolutely.
9. It is very important that parents are interested in helping the children. In this school parents are interested in their children’s progress.
We also made interviews in the street. We went to Cornmarket Street and we interviewed parents or people of about seventeen to twenty-five.

3. Somebody told: “I give him a big hug; I would talk with him; I show them security; I give them some money”.
4. About eleven. But one said “forever”.
5. “I tell him how worry I am; I give him a punish”.
6. They said: “I should talk with them and I should explain the dangers; I would get angry; I would ask him to stop it now”.
7. Everybody said yes.
8. Five people said yes. Three maybe, all the other watched the Disney film.

3-The majority said: ” No, I saw the Disney movie” only a few said: ”Yes, my parents”
4-“To be open and the communication; to never lie; the love between a father and a child; to be honest; “ two young girls said: “ NOTHING!!!”
5-The majority said: “ Very important; the most important thing in my life; It’s a thing that I think about everyday:” Someone said:” it is not so important; It’s more important because my family give me money!!!”
6-Everyone said: “ Yes, more important; extremely important; my family is friendship; “ A few said: “My friends come before my family; I prefer my friend;” One said:” They are equal”.
