Why we chose it, how we will research it and what we think we'll learn
The day we were waiting for has arrived!! We are going to interview people in Oxford about lying, honesty and naivety, the themes we found out from Pinocchio's tale. First of all, let's analyze the reasons of our choice; talking about lying everybody knows that it unfortunately happens in every moment of human life. Nobody is exempt from lying... the child who lies to live in a "wonderland", teenager who lies about cigarettes and alcoholic drinks to keep himself safe from his parents and finally the business man who lies for success. White lies and colossal ones. Where are honest people? They are becoming more and more rare, but they are the minority who will save the world. It is honesty towards his father and himself which saved Pinocchio. We'd like to interview different categories of people, for example shop assistants/owners about their customers, senior citizens and children and teachers because we aim to find out from the interviews different thoughts to have a complete idea of the themes we are discussing. It will be an interesting and exciting experience for us, above all because we could learn a lot from people's experiences and opinions. This way we can better know the society around us to be more aware of such issues.

You're very welcome to come and interview me if you want to. I've certainly told lies in my life, for different reasons, although I might not be prepared to tell the truth about all of them!!!
Thanks a lot Jackie!!Whenever you want we can interview and "bore" you just a little bit...:P
